Oncosoft (CEO Kim Jin-sung) announced on the November 10th that it successfully held its second user meeting, "2024 OncoVision," at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul. This event followed the first user meeting, "OncoBUS (OncoSoft Breakthrough User Summit)," held at the Lahan Hotel in Gyeongju in 2023.

Co-hosted by Oncosoft and VisionRT, a leader in the Surface-Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) field, the event was attended by approximately 150 users and stakeholders including OncoSoft CEO KimJin-Sung, VisionRT Korea President Kim Dong-Hyun, and VisionRT Asia Pacific Executive Vice President Stephen Whale, who discussed the technology and vision of both companies.

The event centered on OncoSoft's AI-based radiotherapy solution, OncoStudio, where users provided feedback and suggestions on the direction of development, and OncoFlow, a newly released radiotherapy workflow management platform, was introduced.

Additionally, a discussion forum was held with experts in the domestic radiation therapy field to explore the clinical needs that arise after AI contouring and ways to address them. Topics included challenges in developing fair AI solutions, understanding large language models (LLMs), and real-world applications in radiation oncology. Research findings related to radiation therapy, such as dose calculations for radiotherapeutic agents, were also shared. The company emphasized that key agendas and directions shaping the future of radiation therapy were thoroughly examined.

“The OncoVision event was a meaningful opportunity to interact with users and hear their vivid feedback, and we were able to explore new opportunities through cooperation with VisionRT,” said KimJin-sung, CEO of Oncosoft. ”It was not just a place to introduce our products, but an opportunity to consider the future of radiation cancer treatment together.”
