Oncosoft, a medical artificial intelligence(AI) radiation cancer treatment startup, is partnering with Amazon Web Services(AWS) to revolutionize medical imaging services.
Oncosoft announced today that it is launching a large-scale medical imaging service using the AWS Health Imaging service. The company plans to focus on building precision cancer treatment solutions and management systems utilizing vast amounts of medical data.
By developing AI auto contouring technology based on AWS Health Imaging, Oncosoft aims to develop innovative solutions that improve the accuracy of radiation treatment planning and reduce the workload of medical staff while enabling customized treatment for patients.
AWS Health Imaging is a service for developing cloud-based medical imaging applications that can store, transform,and analyze petabytes of medical images. It provides DICOM P10 format data collection and fast search capabilities, and is used by global companies such as NVIDIA and Philips.

Oncosoft will leverage AWS's global infrastructure to expand into markets where healthcare cloud is active, such as the U.S., Japan, and Europe, and will collaborate with AWS Korea's Healthcare Business Unit to expand data utilization in the healthcare AI field in Korea and strengthen its global competitiveness.
Meanwhile, AWS is helping healthcare organizations reduce costs and streamline operations and clinical efficiency through its healthcare industry-specific services, AWS HealthScribe and AWS HealthOmics. It currently powers more than 50 global genomics initiatives and more than 90 healthcare, life sciences, and genomics datasets.
