Establishing a place for communication to strengthen collaboration with users
OncoSoft (CEO: Jin Sung Kim), a medical AI company, held the '2023 OncoBUS (Breakthrough User Summit)' at Lahan Hotel in Gyeongju on October 20th and 21st.
This event was the first user event held by OncoSoft in Korea, and was organized to reward the interest and support of domestic users for OncoSoft's OncoStudio, and was attended by about 80 people from 11 hospitals. Prof. Jee Suk Chang of Severance Hospital and Prof. Jae-myung Noh of Seoul Samsung Medical Center were the speakers, and they presented and discussed their experiences, research results, and the latest information on OncoStudio.
“Since the launch of OncoStudio in March 22, we have captured 11% of the domestic market in a short period of time,” said OncoSoft CEO Jin Sung Kim. “Through continuous research and development, OncoSoft will support information and technology that users can utilize in the actual clinical field.”
OncoStudio, meanwhile, is an AI software for automatic contouring of normal organs for radiation cancer treatment that was created with OncoSoft's advanced technology. It provides faster and higher accuracy than conventional manual contouring by humans, enabling more precise and safer radiation treatment planning. OncoStudio is currently undergoing local certification to enter the US and Japanese markets in '24.
At the user meeting, OncoSoft also introduced OncoFlow, an AI-based integrated workflow management platform for radiation therapy, and OncoPalette, an AI-based clinician decision support system (CDSS) specialized for cancer patients.
